Il microclima è quello tipico della Costa Viola, che ha appunto inizio da Palmi. L'area è caratterizzata da una ventilazione quasi sempre presente durante tutto l'anno, con un regime di brezza particolarmente regolare in estate (di mare al mattino, di terra alla sera). Le temperature sono miti e senza eccessi; l'umidità medio-alta. L'esposizione predominante ai venti è dai quadranti occidentali e meridionali, raramente da quelli orientali. Le nevicare sono rare e le inversioni termiche al suolo non presenti.
