Clima tipicamente alpino, la stazione è sul versante retico esposto al sole delle alpi, risente particolarmente d'inverno di forti fenomeni di inversione termica; tuttavia presenta delle minime invernali basse a causa della vicinanza di alcuni ghiacciai (Fellaria e Scerscen )che occasionalmente portano aria molto fredda
