La stazione meteorologica è situata nella frazione di Margone (comune di Vallelaghi). La stazione meteo è posta nel giardino ad una altezza dal terreno erboso di circa 1,85 cm ed è distante dalla abitazioni attigue a circa 9 metri. La stazione è attiva da parecchi anni. L'anemometro è situato, invece, sul tetto dell'abitazione in via allo Spiaz del Pret 4 a circa 8m dal suolo. La zona pur essendo di mezza montagna risente del microclima tipico dell'Alto Garda ed è particolarmente esposta al celebre vento detto "Ora del Garda".
